Boat Flooring

After-market flooring can provide a personalized, professional upgrade to your boat. Have you considered removable woven flooring? Other types of flooring, such as semi-permanent flooring, is laser cut and applied with an adhesive that can last for years, if cared for properly. However, it can peel up at the edges and can be a pain to replace because of removal of the adhesive.

Removable Floor Mats

An alternative to adhesive-backed flooring is vinyl mats backed with urethane. They are commonly found on pontoon boats, but can be add-ons for just about any type of leisure or leisure/fishing boat. If you want to stick with the fiberglass floor but want a cushioned mat at the helm, that can be done, too.

This type of after-market flooring isn’t carpet; it’s made of a vinyl which has a tight weave, is abrasion-resistant, colorfast, stain-resistant, and are antibacterial. It’s backed with a marine foam which provides the cushioning, and a surface that is slip-resistant.

The mats are cut to fit each boat, and I make them removable by using snaps as fasteners which enables them to be washed and/or protected.
